Visual Schedule Board privacy policy

Last updated 9 October 2026 · App version 1.0 · Published by Tendercraft

The short version: everything you enter in Visual Schedule Board stays on your device. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no Tendercraft server. We do not collect, receive, sell or share personal information about you or your child.

Who we are

Visual Schedule Board is a picture-based routine and organization tool for families, carers and teachers. It is published by Tendercraft (tendercrafthq.com). You can reach us at [email protected].

What the app stores on your device

An adult sets up the app. The following information is typed or chosen by the adult and kept only in the app's private storage on your tablet:

Tendercraft does not receive any of this. It is not sent over the internet by the app. Android's automatic cloud backup is turned off for this app.

Children

The app is designed for children to use with a parent, carer or teacher nearby. Children are never asked to create an account, enter personal details, or contact anyone. Editing is protected by a parent gate, so routines are set up by adults. Because the app does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Camera and photos

The camera permission is optional and used only when an adult chooses “Take a photo” for a step. You can also choose an existing photo through Android's picker. The app saves a smaller copy in its private storage. The app does not use your microphone, location, contacts, phone identity or advertising ID, and it does not read your photo library beyond the pictures you select.

Your camera and photo apps may offer their own cloud services, which are governed by their own policies.

Read aloud

The read-aloud button uses Android's built-in text-to-speech with a voice installed on your tablet that works without an internet connection. The button is hidden if no such voice is available. The app does not send step labels to any server.

Purchases

The free version includes one child profile and two routines. A one-time purchase unlocks more. Purchases are handled entirely by Amazon through the Amazon Appstore. Amazon receives the information it needs to complete and restore a purchase, under Amazon's own privacy notice. The app keeps a local record that the purchase was confirmed so that your routines keep working offline. There are no subscriptions.

Backups you create

A parent can export all routines and photos to a single file in a folder they choose, and import it again later. That file can contain names and photos, so keep it somewhere safe. The file does not include purchase information. We never see it.

Deleting your data

Deleting a child or a routine in the app removes its records and any photos no longer used. Uninstalling the app removes all data the app stores privately. Backup files you exported stay where you saved them until you delete them.

No tracking, no third parties

The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social-media or profiling code. The only outside service it talks to is the Amazon Appstore, for purchases. The app's typeface and icons are bundled inside the app, so it does not load fonts or images from the internet.

Changes to this policy

If the way the app handles data ever changes, we will update this page and its date before the change ships in an app update.
